My name is Oscar Silva Sánchez and I live in the Canary Islands although I am originally from Galicia in northern Spain.
I started in the cat world in the early 2000s, breeding Persians and Exotic Shorthairs under the cattery name De Silsanos.
For the first few years, my breeding and showing activities focused on FIFe and WCF shows in both Spain and Portugal.
After several years, I became acquainted with CFA, together with my partner Teo Vargas of the cattery D’arnaudcats.
Over nearly 20 years with the CFA, I have progressed from clerk to master clerk and finally to judge.
During this time, I have exhibited cats of various breeds (Persians, Exotics, Mainecoon, Turkish Angora, Scottish Fold, Siamese…) throughout Europe and the United States, achieving everything from the most prestigious titles in CFA, NW and BW to multiple GC cats.
I am currently an Approved Judge (LH) and Associate Judge (SH), qualifying me to judge in both specialties in Europe. I am currently in training to become an AB judge in the not-too-distant future
At the same time, and of course always linked to the world of cats, I carry out another activity as a feline photographer.
